Hastelloy alloy tube 276 is particularly suitable for use in high temperature, mixed with impurities of inorganic and organic acids (such as formic acid and acetic acid), and seawater corrosive environments. It is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy containing tungsten, with extremely low silicon and carbon content. Under oxidation and reduction conditions, it has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media, as well as excellent resistance to point corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. It has been widely used in the fields of chemical and petrochemical industries, such as in components and catalytic systems that come into contact with chloride containing organic compounds.
